- J2 jump onstage, but Jared used the chairs to help him jump because he tweaked his back this morning, and Jensen is a little sick but they’re still here with the fans :)
- Jared held his shirt open to reveal the Louden Swain shirt underneath :)
- Jared asked who here is Canadian and Jensen raised his hand. Jared says by now they’re honorary Canadians.
- Jared referencing the con hotel where they filmed the scene with Bela for 3x06 Red Sky at Morning.
- Jensen noticed that Jared is sweating a lot and asks for towels. Jensen giving him the towel: Here you go, big guy.
- Jensen: You have a little injury? Jared: I tweaked my back. Jared strips off his top layer. The towel fell on the floor and Jared insisted Jensen pick them up for him, so Jensen picked it up and tossed it further.
- Aww. Jared keeps saying he’s okay and Jensen is having none of it.
- J2 pointing out and applauding crew members in the audience.
- Was there a moment you realized this show had created a family? One of the most standout con moment’s for Jared was at SDCC 2015 with the AKF candles during the Supernatural panel. Jared spoke about the support he felt during a rough time. Said that it’s easy for people to be supportive during good times, but people were there for him when it wasn’t.
- One of the standout moments for Jensen was his first VegasCon and seeing how many people were there. He needed the spotlight turned down because there were so many people that he was “sweating like Jared.”
- French fan asked a question. Jensen: En français, s'il-vous plaît? Jared: NON. Fan responded in French. They are now making endless jokes on each other because Jared asked her “how do you say?” something in French in Italian.
- “Any advice to season 1 Sam and Dean?” Jared: Buy Bitcoin. Jensen: … Jared: OH. You meant Salmon Dean. Don’t swim upstream :P
- Jared referencing Salmon Dean and Jensen does the thing where he turns away to hide his giggle.
- “That’s why I’m sweating. I’m always next to you” - Jared to Jensen
- On advice for their season 1 selves: Jared says avoid brunettes in leather jackets and Jensen says avoid brunettes with trenchcoats.
- Opportunity to do a crew impression since so many are here. Jared does an excellent impression of Speight calling them by their character names when he directs.
- J2 are J2ing hard today :P
- Jensen talks about Travis who was one of the props crew and he was VERY uncomfortable around Jensen and Jared and would fall when he saw them. Jensen shows this by falling at Jared’s feet and they reenact it lol.
- “It’s the musk” - Jared
- The love J2 have for cast and crew is so amazing and you can just feel it so fucking hard.
- Jensen: We do get Dean back, but in what capacity and how is Michael taking over going to affect him?
- Jared would like to see Samifer again.
- “Hey, look everybody dies on this show” - Jensen.
- Jared enjoys the twisted relationship between Sam and Lucifer.
- What song would you like when you walk in into a room or the car…? Jensen: I sang it last night (Nathaniel Rateliff’s “S.O.B.”).
- Jared tells a story about him, Jensen, and some of the other cast being in the bathroom, stalls full. It was so quiet so he played “Eye of the Tiger.” Jensen: No! It was The Final Countdown!
- Jared telling a story about when everyone was in the stalls in the bathroom, he played a song on his phone because it was so quiet. Jared: It was “Eye of the Tiger.” Jensen: No! It was “The Final Countdown!”
- Dream project to direct? Jensen: Jared and I have been talking about a Naked Gun version of Supernatural. A slapstick version.
- J2 and Speight have a text thread of ideas they call “Naked SPN” which stands for the Naked Gun version of SPN.
- Jared assures us Naked SPN exists on Tumblr, etc, already lol. Jensen: Is this for real estate fantasies?!
- Jared has no desire to direct. He loves watching compilations of Supernatural, so maybe something related to that, aka editing.
- Fan asks who has inspired them to make the world better? Jared says simple kindnesses he witnesses. Says Misha inspires them, also mentions Rachel Miner :)
- Jensen feels inspiration is around us all the time and it’s up to us to be open to it.
- The intensity with which they listen to each other when they’re discussing something serious :D
- Dean’s sacrificing nature “Was born from what Eric Kripke created all those years ago.” From Day 1 he knew Dean would do whatever it took to do what he thinks is right. And he’s tried to build on and honor that and he’s proud of it. The happiness Dean gets is from winning his fights.
- Jensen and Jared would love to put a giant gag reel together, but there’s A LOT of material and it takes A LOT of time to do. The crew does the gag reel and Shaving People Punting Things on their own time.
- Jensen worries the gags ruin the illusion during serious scenes but the crowd disagrees. Says he had a fart machine taped to the bottom of the table. Jared: Was that me??
- Do they have special things they do with their kids when they’re home? Jensen jokes that that question is a landmine field.
- Jared does the same things with Tom that he does with Shep. Jared does date nights with just him and either Shep or Tom. The kids fight over who gets to hang up the FaceTime. Is grateful for that type of tech to stay connected.
- Jensen will try to spend time with one of the twins individually. JJ will always come with Jensen to do errands and such
- Jensen: The family will play Monopoly. We need the one with Daddy and Uncle Jared’s face on it (the SPN version). Jared: Don’t play the Clue version. “Daddy killed him with a…”
- A moment when you were proud of each other? Jensen: There are tons. So hard to pick. Can’t narrow it down. Jared: I’m proud of him right now.
- Jared calls them sparring partners, they try to make each other better.
- Jared was really proud of Jensen when he acted out the monologue at the end of season 2 where Sam is dead and Dean is talking to his body.
- Despite joking before, Jensen assures us there are many times. Often small moments of having each other’s backs
- Jensen: When Jared and I fist bump, we don’t need to say anything. It’s our way of saying “good job” out there.
- Jensen discusses how much he and Jared support each other. Mentions how after cons he often feels really happy they put on a good show.
- Jared was Alex bitching about being dogpiled? (He was - when Jack falls down in a scene and J2M kept dogpiling Alex lol). Jensen: After 6 takes he figured out to roll onto his back and start kicking
- Acknowledging that a lot of storylines go unfinished. Jared says he’s been waiting for Michael!Dean since season 5.
- Jensen: Hey Jared!! What’s the capital of New Hampshire? Jared: Old Hampshire.
- Fan: How is Sam’s near leadership role going to impact his relationship with Dean? Jared: Dean has been very supportive of Sam as a leader. I think Sam feels that his true abilities lie in the academic sides. He’ll fight when he needs to fight. Dean will be the supportive brother he always has been.
- Jensen adds that each brother steps into these roles as needed. They aren’t painted with a single brush. But Dean will have a few choice words for Sam when he gets back.
- How would Sam and Dean give Jack the talk? Jared: He’s two years old!!
- Jensen uses putting gas into Baby as a metaphor. ”You have a nozzle, and gas comes out…” Says some of these issues do come up in future episodes and Dean helps/gives Jack advice.
- Jared’s mind goes to a dirty place during a question. Everyone is handling this fine haha.
- Last question: Questioner is here due to her 14-year-old who went through a hard time and SPN helped her through.
- Asks about Scoobynatural dates. Jensen: Dean’s date with Daphne would be “Baby’s backseat.” Jared says that Sam and Velma’s date would be going to the library and reading.
- “Scoobynatural 2: 2 Scooby 2 Natural Tokyo Drift” - Jared
